But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in the Father.
Acts 7 22 Et eruditus est Moyses omni sapientia Aegyptiorum, et erat potens in verbis et in operibus suis. And Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians: and he was mighty in his words and in his deeds.
Acts 7 41 Et vitulum fecerunt in diebus illis, et obtulerunt hostiam simulacro, et laetabantur in operibus manuum suarum.
And in Joppe there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
Because by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified before him. For by the law is the knowledge of sin.
For we account a man to be justified by faith, without the works of the law.
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory, but not before God.
Romans 4 6 Sicut et David dicit beatitudinem hominis, cui Deus accepto fert justitiam sine operibus : As David also termeth the blessedness of a man to whom God reputeth justice without works:

And if by grace, it is not now by works: otherwise grace is no more grace.
Galatians 3 2 Hoc solum a vobis volo discere : ex operibus legis Spiritum accepistis, an ex auditu fidei ? This only would I learn of you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? None
He therefore who giveth to you the Spirit and worketh miracles among you: doth he do it by the works of the law or by the hearing of the faith? None
For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: Cursed is every one that abideth, not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. None
Not of works, that no man may glory.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness: but rather reprove them.
Colossians 1 21 Et vos cum essetis aliquando alienati, et inimici sensu in operibus malis : And you, whereas you were some time alienated and enemies in mind in evil works: Καὶ ὑμᾶς ποτὲ ὄντας ἀπηλλοτριωμένους καὶ ἐχθροὺς τῇ διανοίᾳ ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τοῖς πονηροῖς, νυνὶ δὲ ἀποκατήλλαξεν"

Titus 3 5 non ex operibus justitiae, quae fecimus nos, sed secundum suam misericordiam salvos nos fecit per lavacrum regenerationis et renovationis Spiritus Sancti, Not by the works of justice which we have done, but according to his mercy, he saved us, by the laver of regeneration and renovation of the Holy Ghost.
It is a faithful saying. And these things I will have thee affirm constantly, that they who believe in God may be careful to excel in good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

For we, who have believed, shall enter into rest; as he said: As I have sworn in my wrath: If they shall enter into my rest; and this indeed when the works from the foundation of the world were finished.

Hebrews 6 1 Quapropter intermittentes inchoationis Christi sermonem, ad perfectiora feramur, non rursum jacientes fundamentum poenitentiae ab operibus mortuis, et fidei ad Deum, Wherefore, leaving the word of the beginning of Christ, let us go on to things more perfect: not laying again the foundation of penance from dead works and of faith towards God, Διό,
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who by the Holy Ghost offered himself unspotted unto God, cleanse our conscience from dead works, to serve the living God?
James 2 18 Sed dicet quis : Tu fidem habes, et ego opera habeo : ostende mihi fidem tuam sine operibus : et ego ostendam tibi ex operibus fidem meam. But some man will say: Thou hast faith, and I have works. Shew me thy faith without works; and I will shew thee, by works, my faith.

Seest thou that faith did cooperate with his works and by works faith was made perfect?

For even as the body without the spirit is dead: so also faith without works is dead.

Having your conversation good among the Gentiles: that whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by the good works which they shall behold in you, glorify God in the day of visitation.
