Genesis 19 15 Cumque esset mane, cogebant eum angeli, dicentes : Surge, tolle uxorem tuam, et duas filias quas habes : ne et tu pariter pereas in scelere civitatis. And when it was morning, the angels pressed him, saying: Arise, take thy wife, and the two daughters that thou hast: lest thou also perish in the wickedness of the city.

Said: If I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, I beseech thee that thou wilt go with us, (for it is a stiffnecked people) and take away our iniquities and sin, and possess us.

And putting both hands upon his head, let him confess all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their offences and sins. And praying that they may light on its head, he shall turn him out by a man ready for it, into the desert.
Make not thy daughter a common strumpet, lest the land be defiled, and filled with wickedness.
Leviticus 20 14 Qui supra uxorem filiam, duxerit matrem ejus, scelus operatus est : vivus ardebit cum eis, nec permanebit tantum nefas in medio vestri. If any man after marrying the daughter, marry her mother, he hath done a heinous crime. He shall be burnt alive with them: neither shall so great an abomination remain in the midst of you.
Leviticus 22 16 ne forte sustineant iniquitatem delicti sui, cum sanctificata comederint. Ego Dominus qui sanctifico eos. Lest perhaps they bear the iniquity of their trespass, when they shall have eaten the sanctified things. I am the Lord who sanctify them.
Which when she shall be left by them, shall enjoy her sabbaths, being desolate for them. But they shall pray for their sins, because they rejected my judgments, and despised my laws.
Numbers 14 18 Dominus patiens et multae misericordiae, auferens iniquitatem et scelera, nullumque innoxium derelinquens, qui visitas peccata patrum in filios in tertiam et quartam generationem.
For I know that, after my death, you will do wickedly, and will quickly turn aside form the way that I have commanded you: and evils shall come upon you in the latter times, when you shall do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him by the works of your hands.

2_Kings 19 19 dixit ad eum : Ne reputes mihi, domine mi, iniquitatem, neque memineris injuriarum servi tui in die qua egressus es, domine mi rex, de Jerusalem, neque ponas, rex, in corde tuo. Said to him: Impute not to me, my lord, the iniquity, nor remember the injuries of thy servant on the day that thou, my lord, the king, wentest out of Jerusalem, nor lay it up in thy heart, O king.

But David's heart struck him, after the people were numbered: and David said to the Lord: I have sinned very much in what I have done: but I pray thee, O Lord, to take away the iniquity of thy servant, because I have done exceeding foolishly.
Then they said one to another: We do not well: for this is a day of good tidings. If we hold our peace, and do not tell it till the morning, we shall be charged with a crime: come, let us go, and tell it in the king's court.
Esdras 9 13 Et post omnia quae venerunt super nos in operibus nostris pessimis, et in delicto nostro magno, quia tu, Deus noster, liberasti nos de iniquitate nostra, et dedisti nobis salutem sicut est hodie, And after all that is come upon us, for our most wicked deeds, and our great sin, seeing that thou our God hast saved us from our iniquity, and hast given us a deliverance as at this day, Καὶ μετὰ πᾶν τὸ ἐρχόμενον ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς ἐν ποιήμασιν ἡμῶν τοῖς πονηροῖς καὶ ἐν πλημμελείᾳ ἡμῶν τῇ μεγάλῃ, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὡς ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν, ὅτι ἐκούφισας ἡμῶν τὰς ἀνομίας, καὶ ἔδωκας ἡμῖν σωτηρίαν·
Job 8 4 Etiam si filii tui peccaverunt ei, et dimisit eos in manu iniquitatis suae : Although thy children have sinned against him, and he hath left them in the hand of their iniquity: Εἰ οἱ υἱοί σου ἥμαρτον ἐναντίον αὐτοῦ, ἀπέστειλεν ἐν χειρὶ ἀνομίας αὐτῶν.
Job 10 6 ut quaeras iniquitatem meam, et peccatum meum scruteris, That thou shouldst inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin? ὅτι ἀνεζήτησας τὴν ἀνομίαν μου, καὶ τὰς ἁμαρτίας μου ἐξιχνίασας;
If I have sinned, and thou hast spared me for an hour: why dost thou not suffer me to be clean from my iniquity?
Job 14 17 Signasti quasi in sacculo delicta mea, sed curasti iniquitatem meam. Thou hast sealed up my offences as it were in a bag, but hast cured my iniquity.
Job 20 27 Revelabunt caeli iniquitatem ejus, et terra consurget adversus eum. The heavens shall reveal his iniquity, and the earth shall rise up against him.
Is not destruction to the wicked, and aversion to them that work iniquity?
Which is a very great iniquity, and a denial against the most high God.
Substance got in haste shall be diminished: but that which by little and little is gathered with the hand, shall increase.
Isaias 1 5 Super quo percutiam vos ultra, addentes praevaricationem ? omne caput languidum, et omne cor moerens. For what shall I strike you any more, you that increase transgression? the whole head is sick, and the whole heart is sad.
For Jerusalem is ruined, and Juda is fallen: because their tongue, and their devices are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of his majesty.
For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel: and the man of Juda, his pleasant plant: and I looked that he should do judgment, and behold iniquity: and do justice, and behold a cry.
Isaias 5 18 [Vae qui trahitis iniquitatem in funiculis vanitatis, et quasi vinculum plaustri peccatum ! Woe to you that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as the rope of a cart.
And he touched my mouth, and said: Behold this hath touched thy lips, and thy iniquities shall be taken away, and thy sin shall be cleansed.
Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men: neither shall he have mercy on their fatherless, and widows: for every one is a hypocrite and wicked, and every mouth hath spoken folly. For all this his indignation is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
Isaias 21 4 Emarcuit cor meum ; tenebrae stupefecerunt me : Babylon dilecta mea posita est mihi in miraculum. My heart failed, darkness amazed me: Babylon my beloved is become a wonder to me.
With shaking shall the earth be shaken as a drunken man, and shall be removed as the tent of one night: and the iniquity thereof shall be heavy upon it, and it shall fall, and not rise again.
Therefore upon this shall the iniquity of the house of Jacob be forgiven: and this is all the fruit, that the sin thereof should be taken away, when he shall have made all the stones of the altar, as burnt stones broken in pieces, the groves and temples shall not stand.
He that walketh in justices, and speaketh truth, that casteth away avarice by oppression, and shaketh his hands from all bribes, that stoppeth his ears lest he hear blood, and shutteth his eyes that he may see no evil.
I am, I am he that blot out thy iniquities for my own sake, and I will not remember thy sins.
Put me in remembrance, and let us plead together: tell if thou hast any thing to justify thyself.
I have blotted out thy iniquities as a cloud, and thy sins as a mist: return to me, for I have redeemed thee.
But he was wounded for our iniquities, he was bruised for our sins: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by his bruises we are healed.
He was taken away from distress, and from judgment: who shall declare his generation? because he is cut off out of the land of the living: for the wickedness of my people have I struck him.
And he shall give the ungodly for his burial, and the rich for his death: because he hath done no iniquity, neither was there deceit in his mouth.
Cry, cease not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their wicked doings, and the house of Jacob their sins.
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity: your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue uttereth iniquity.
There is none that calleth upon justice, neither is there any one that judgeth truly: but they trust in a mere nothing, and speak vanities: they have conceived labour, and brought forth iniquity.
Isaias 59 6 Telae eorum non erunt in vestimentum, neque operientur operibus suis ; opera eorum opera inutilia, et opus iniquitatis in manibus eorum. Their webs shall not be for clothing, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are unprofitable works, and the work of iniquity is in their hands.
For our iniquities are multiplied before thee, and our sins have testified against us: for our wicked doings are with us, and have known our iniquities:
Isaias 64 5 Occurristi laetanti, et facienti justitiam ; in viis tuis recordabuntur tui. Ecce tu iratus es, et peccavimus ; in ipsis fuimus semper, et salvabimur. Thou hast met him that rejoiceth, and doth justice: in thy ways they shall remember thee: behold thou art angry, and we have sinned: in them we have been always, and we shall be saved.
Matthew 7 23 Et tunc confitebor illis : Quia numquam novi vos : discedite a me, qui operamini iniquitatem. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.

Matthew 13 41 Mittet Filius hominis angelos suos, et colligent de regno ejus omnia scandala, et eos qui faciunt iniquitatem : The Son of man shall send his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all scandals, and them that work iniquity.

So you also outwardly indeed appear to men just: but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Matthew 24 12 Et quoniam abundavit iniquitas, refrigescet caritas multorum : And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.

2_Corinthians 6 14 Nolite jugum ducere cum infidelibus. Quae enim participatio justitiae cum iniquitate ? aut quae societas luci ad tenebras ? Bear not the yoke with unbelievers. For what participation hath justice with injustice? Or what fellowship hath light with darkness? ¶Μὴ γίνεσθε ἑτεροζυγοῦντες ἀπίστοις· τίς γὰρ μετοχὴ δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ ἀνομίᾳ; Τίς δὲ κοινωνία φωτὶ πρὸς σκότος;
For the mystery of iniquity already worketh: only that he who now holdeth do hold, until he be taken out of the way.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and might cleanse to himself a people acceptable, a pursuer of good works.
Hebrews 1 9 Dilexisti justitiam, et odisti iniquitatem : propterea unxit te Deus, Deus tuus, oleo exultationis prae participibus tuis. Thou hast loved justice and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Because I will be merciful to their iniquities: and their sins I will remember no more.
And their sins and iniquities I will remember no more.
Whosoever committeth sin committeth also iniquity. And sin is iniquity.
