Deuteronomy 4 5 Scitis quod docuerim vos praecepta atque justitias, sicut mandavit mihi Dominus Deus meus : sic facietis ea in terra, quam possessuri estis : You know that I have taught you statutes and justices, as the Lord my God hath commanded me: so shall you do them in the land which you shall possess:
For it is not for thy justices, and the uprightness of thy heart that thou shalt go in to possess their lands: but because they have done wickedly, they are destroyed at thy coming in: and that the Lord might accomplish his word, which he promised by oath to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Deuteronomy 9 6 Scito ergo quod non propter justitias tuas Dominus Deus tuus dederit tibi terram hanc optimam in possessionem, cum durissimae cervicis sis populus. Know therefore that the Lord thy God giveth thee not this excellent land in possession for thy justices, for thou art a very stiffnecked people.
Thou shalt hear his voice, and do the commandments and justices which I command thee.

2_Paralipomenon 7 17 Tu quoque si ambulaveris coram me, sicut ambulaverit David pater tuus, et feceris juxta omnia quae praecepi tibi, et justitias meas judiciaque servaveris : And as for thee, if thou walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and keep my justices and my judgments: Καὶ σὺ ἐὰν πορευθῇς ἐναντίον μου ὡς Δαυὶδ ὁ πατήρ σου, καὶ ποιήσῃς κατὰ πάντα ἃ ἐνετειλάμην σοι, καὶ τὰ προστάγματά μου καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου φυλάξῃ,
