| Josue 4 10 | Sacerdotes autem qui portabant arcam, stabant in Jordanis medio, donec omnia complerentur, quae Josue, ut loqueretur ad populum, praeceperat Dominus, et dixerat ei Moyses. Festinavitque populus, et transiit. | Now the priests that carried the ark, stood in the midst of the Jordan, till all things were accomplished, which the Lord had commanded Josue to speak to the people, and Moses had said to him. | Josue 4 14 | In die illo magnificavit Dominus Josue coram omni Israel, ut timerent eum, sicut timuerant Moysen, dum adviveret. | In that day the Lord magnified Josue in the sight of all Israel, that they should fear him, as they had feared Moses, while he lived. | Ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ηὔξησε Κύριος τὸν Ἰησοῦν ἐναντίον τοῦ παντὸς γένους Ἰσραὴλ· καὶ ἐφοβοῦντο αὐτὸν, ὥσπερ Μωυσῆν, ὅσον χρόνον ἔζη. |

| Josue 5 7 | Horum filii in locum successerunt patrum, et circumcisi sunt a Josue : quia sicut nati fuerant, in praeputio erant, nec eos in via aliquis circumciderat. | The children of these succeeded in the place of their fathers, and were circumcised by Josue: for they were uncircumcised even as they were born, and no one had circumcised them in the way. | Ἀντὶ δὲ τούτων ἀντικατέστησε τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν, οὓς Ἰησοῦς περιέτεμε, διὰ τὸ αὐτοὺς γεγεννῆσθαι κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν ἀπεριτμήτους. |

Vocatumque est nomen loci illius Galgala, usque in praesentem diem. | And the Lord said to Josue: This day have I taken away from you the reproach of Egypt. | Josue 6 12 | Igitur Josue de nocte consurgente, tulerunt sacerdotes arcam Domini, | And Josue rising before day, the priests took the ark of the Lord, | Καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ δευτέρᾳ ἀνέστη Ἰησοῦς τοπρωῒ, καὶ ᾖραν οἱ ἱερεῖς τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου. |
| Josue 6 16 | Cumque septimo circuitu clangerent buccinis sacerdotes, dixit Josue ad omnem Israel : Vociferamini : tradidit enim vobis Dominus civitatem. | And when in the seventh going about the priests sounded with the trumpets, Josue said to all Israel: Shout: for the Lord hath delivered the city to you: | Καὶ ἐγένετο τῇ περιόδῳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ ἐσάλπισαν οἱ ἱερεῖς· καὶ εἶπεν Ἰησοῦς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ, κεκράξατε, παρέδωκε γὰρ Κύριος ὑμῖν τὴν πόλιν. |
| Josue 6 22 | Duobus autem viris, qui exploratores missi fuerant, dixit Josue : Ingredimini domum mulieris meretricis, et producite eam, et omnia quae illius sunt, sicut illi juramento firmastis. | But Josue said to the two men that had been sent for spies: Go into the harlot's house, and bring her out, and all things that are hers, as you assured her by oath. | Καὶ τοῖς δυσὶ νεανίσκοις τοῖς κατασκοπεύσασιν εἶπεν Ἰησοῦς, εἰσέλθατε εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν τῆς γυναικὸς, καὶ ἐξαγάγετε αὐτὴν ἐκεῖθεν, καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν αὐτῇ. |

At that time, Josue made an imprecation, saying: | Καὶ Ῥαὰβ τὴν πόρνην, καὶ πάντα τὸν οἶκον αὐτῆς τὸν πατρικὸν ἐζώγρησεν Ἰησοῦς· καὶ κατῴκισεν ἐν τῷ Ἰσραὴλ ἕως τῆς σήμερον ἡμέρας, διότι ἔκρυψε τοὺς κατασκοπεύαντας, οὓς ἀπέστειλεν Ἰησοῦς κατασκοπεῦσαι τὴν Ἱεριχώ. |

| Josue 7 16 | Surgens itaque Josue mane, applicuit Israel per tribus suas, et inventa est tribus Juda. | Josue, therefore, when he rose in the morning, made Israel to come by their tribes, and the tribe of Juda was found. | Καὶ ὤρθρισεν Ἰησοῦς, καὶ προσήγαγε τὸν λαὸν κατὰ φυλάς· καὶ ἐνεδείχθη ἡ φυλὴ Ἰούδα. |

| Josue 7 22 | Misit ergo Josue ministros : qui currentes ad tabernaculum illius, repererunt cuncta abscondita in eodem loco, et argentum simul. | Josue therefore sent ministers: who running to his tent, found all hid in the same place, together with the silver. | Καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Ἰησοῦς ἀγγέλους, καὶ ἔδραμον εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν εἰς τὴν παρεμβολήν· καὶ ταῦτα ἦν κεκρυμμένα εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον ὑποκάτω αὐτῶν. |
| Josue 7 23 | Auferentesque de tentorio, tulerunt ea ad Josue, et ad omnes filios Israel, projeceruntque ante Dominum. | And taking them away out of the tent, they brought them to Josue, and to all the children of Israel, and threw them down before the Lord. | Καὶ ἐξήνεγκαν αὐτὰ ἐκ τῆς σκηνῆς, καὶ ἤνεγκαν πρὸς Ἰησοῦν καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ ἔθηκαν αὐτὰ ἔναντι Κυρίου. |
| Josue 7 24 | Tollens itaque Josue Achan filium Zare, argentumque et pallium, et auream regulam, filios quoque et filias ejus, boves et asinos et oves, ipsumque tabernaculum, et cunctam supellectilem (et omnis Israel cum eo), duxerunt eos ad vallem Achor : | Then Josue, and all Israel with him, took Achan, the son of Zare, and the silver, and the garment, and the golden rule, his sons also, and his daughters, his oxen, and asses, and sheep, the tent also, and all the goods: and brought them to the valley of Achor: | Καὶ ἔλαβεν Ἰησοῦς τὸν Ἄχαρ υἱὸν Ζαρὰ, καὶ ἀνήγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς φάραγγα Ἀχὼρ, καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτοῦ, καὶ τοὺς μόσχους αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὰ ὑποζύγια αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντα τὰ πρόβατα αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὴν σκηνὴν αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ, καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς μετʼ αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἀνήγαγεν αὐτοὺς εἰς Ἐμεκαχώρ. |
| Josue 7 25 | ubi dixit Josue : Quia turbasti nos, exturbet te Dominus in die hac. Lapidavitque eum omnis Israel : et cuncta quae illius erant, igne consumpta sunt. | Where Josue said: Because thou hast troubled us, the Lord trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him: and all things that were his, were consumed with fire. | Καὶ εἶπεν Ἰησοῦς τῷ Ἄχαρ, τί ὠλόθρευσας ἡμᾶς; ἐξολοθρεύσαι σε Κύριος καθὰ καὶ σήμερον. |
| Josue 8 1 | Dixit autem Dominus ad Josue : Ne timeas, neque formides : tolle tecum omnem multitudinem pugnatorum, et consurgens ascende in oppidum Hai. Ecce tradidi in manu tua regem ejus et populum, urbemque et terram. | And the Lord said to Josue: Fear not, nor be thou dismayed: take with thee all the multitude of fighting men, arise, and go up to the town of Hai: Behold I have delivered into thy hand the king thereof, and the people, and the city, and the land. | Καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Ἰησοῦν, μὴ φοβηθῇς, μηδὲ δειλιάσῃς· λάβε μετὰ σοῦ πάντας τοὺς ἄνδρας τοὺς πολεμιστάς, καὶ ἀναστὰς ἀνάβηθι εἰς Γαί· ἰδοὺ δέδωκα εἰς τὰς χεῖράς σου τὸν βασιλέα Γαὶ, καὶ τὴν γῆν αὐτοῦ. |
| Josue 8 3 | Surrexitque Josue, et omnis exercitus bellatorum cum eo, ut ascenderent in Hai : et electa triginta millia virorum fortium misit nocte, | And Josue arose, and all the army of the fighting men with him, to go up against Hai: and he sent thirty thousand chosen valiant men in the night, | Καὶ ἀνέστη Ἰησοῦς καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ὁ πολεμιστὴς ὥστε ἀναβῆναι εἰς Γαί. ἐπέλεξε δὲ Ἰησοῦς τριάκοντα χιλιάδας ἀνδρῶν δυνατοὺς ἐν ἰσχύϊ, καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς νυκτός. |
| Josue 8 9 | Dimisitque eos, et perrexerunt ad locum insidiarum, sederuntque inter Bethel et Hai, ad occidentalem plagam urbis Hai : Josue autem nocte illa in medio mansit populi, | And he sent them away, and they went on to the place of the ambush, and abode between Bethel and Hai, on the west side of the city of Hai. But Josue staid that night in the midst of the people, | Καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς Ἰησοῦς, καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν εἰς τὴν ἔνεδραν· καὶ ἐνεκάθισαν ἀναμέσον Βαιθὴλ καὶ ἀναμέσον Γαὶ, ἀπὸ θαλάσσης τῆς Γαί. |
| Josue 8 13 | omnis vero reliquus exercitus ad aquilonem aciem dirigebat, ita ut novissimi illius multitudinis occidentalem plagam urbis attingerent.
