Luke 14 19 Et alter dixit : Juga boum emi quinque, et eo probare illa : rogo te, habe me excusatum. And another said: I have bought five yoke of oxen and I go to try them. John 4 8 (Discipuli enim ejus abierant in civitatem ut cibos emerent.) For his disciples were gone into the city to buy meats. Οἱ γὰρ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ ἀπεληλύθεισαν εἰς τὴν πόλιν, ἵνα τροφὰς ἀγοράσωσιν."

Apocalypse 13 17 et nequis possit emere, aut vendere, nisi qui habet caracterem, aut nomen bestiae, aut numerum nominis ejus. And that no man might buy or sell, but he that hath the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. καὶ ἵνα μή τις δύναται ἀγοράσαι ἢ πωλῆσαι, εἰ μὴ ὁ ἔχων τὸ χάραγμα, τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ θηρίου ἢ τὸν ἀριθμὸν τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ."
Apocalypse 14 3 Et cantabant quasi canticum novum ante sedem, et ante quatuor animalia, et seniores : et nemo poterat dicere canticum, nisi illa centum quadraginta quatuor millia, qui empti sunt de terra. And they sung as it were a new canticle, before the throne and before the four living creatures and the ancients: and no man could say the canticle, but those hundred forty-four thousand who were purchased from the earth. Apocalypse 14 4 Hi sunt, qui cum mulieribus non sunt coinquinati : virgines enim sunt. Hi sequuntur Agnum quocumque ierit. Hi empti sunt ex hominibus primitiae Deo, et Agno : These are they who were not defiled with women: for they are virgins. These follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, the firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. Οὗτοί εἰσιν οἳ μετὰ γυναικῶν οὐκ ἐμολύνθησαν· παρθένοι γάρ εἰσιν. Οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ ἀκολουθοῦντες τῷ ἀρνίῳ ὅπου ἂν ὑπάγῃ. Οὗτοι ὑπὸ Ἰησοῦ ἠγοράσθησαν ἀπὸ τῶν ἀνθρώπων, ἀπαρχὴ τῷ θεῷ καὶ τῷ ἀρνίῳ."
Apocalypse 18 11 Et negotiatores terrae flebunt, et lugebunt super illam : quoniam merces eorum nemo emet amplius : And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her: for no man shall buy their merchandise any more. Καὶ οἱ ἔμποροι τῆς γῆς κλαύσουσιν καὶ πενθήσουσιν ἐπ’ αὐτῇ, ὅτι τὸν γόμον αὐτῶν οὐδεὶς ἀγοράζει οὐκέτι·"
