John 21 17 Dicit ei tertio : Simon Joannis, amas me ? Contristatus est Petrus, quia dixit ei tertio : Amas me ? et dixit ei : Domine, tu omnia nosti, tu scis quia amo te. Dixit ei : Pasce oves meas. He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.
Peter turning about, saw that disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also leaned on his breast at supper and said: Lord, who is he that shall betray thee?
Him therefore when Peter had seen, he saith to Jesus: Lord, and what shall this man do?
Acts 1 13 Et cum introissent in coenaculum, ascenderunt ubi manebant Petrus, et Joannes, Jacobus, et Andreas, Philippus, et Thomas, Bartholomaeus, et Matthaeus, Jacobus Alphaei, et Simon Zelotes, et Judas Jacobi. And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode Peter and John, James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James of Alpheus and Simon Zelotes and Jude the brother of James.
Acts 1 15 In diebus illis, exsurgens Petrus in medio fratrum, dixit (erat autem turba hominum simul, fere centum viginti) : In those days Peter rising up in the midst of the brethren, said (now the number of persons together was about an hundred and twenty): ¶Καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις ἀναστὰς Πέτρος ἐν μέσῳ τῶν μαθητῶν εἶπεν- ἦν τε ὄχλος ὀνομάτων ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ὡς ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι-
But Peter standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and spoke to them: Ye men of Judea, and all you that dwell in Jerusalem, be this known to you and with your ears receive my words.
Acts 2 38 Petrus vero ad illos : Poenitentiam, inquit, agite, et baptizetur unusquisque vestrum in nomine Jesu Christi in remissionem peccatorum vestrorum : et accipietis donum Spiritus Sancti. But Peter said to them: Do penance: and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins. And you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Now Peter and John went up into the temple at the ninth hour of prayer.
Acts 3 4 Intuens autem in eum Petrus cum Joanne, dixit : Respice in nos. But Peter with John, fastening his eyes upon him, said: Look upon us.
But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none; but what I have, I give thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise and walk.
But Peter seeing, made answer to the people: Ye men of Israel, why wonder you at this? Or why look you upon us, as if by our strength or power we had made this man to walk?
Acts 4 8 Tunc repletus Spiritu Sancto Petrus, dixit ad eos : Principes populi, et seniores, audite : Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said to them: Ye princes of the people and ancients, hear.
But Peter and John answering, said to them: If it be just, in the sight of God, to hear you rather than God, judge ye.
But Peter said: Ananias, why hath Satan tempted thy heart, that thou shouldst lie to the Holy Ghost and by fraud keep part of the price of the land?
At illa dixit : Etiam tanti. And Peter said to her: Tell me, woman, whether you sold the land for so much? And she said: Yea, for so much.
And Peter said unto her: Why have you agreed together to tempt the spirit of the Lord? Behold the feet of them who have buried thy husband are at the door: and they shall carry thee out, Ὁ δὲ Πέτρος εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτήν, Τί ὅτι συνεφωνήθη ὑμῖν πειράσαι τὸ πνεῦμα κυρίου; Ἰδού, οἱ πόδες τῶν θαψάντων τὸν ἄνδρα σου ἐπὶ τῇ θύρᾳ, καὶ ἐξοίσουσίν σε."
But Peter and the apostles answering, said: We ought to obey God rather than men.
Acts 8 19 dicens : Date et mihi hanc potestatem, ut cuicumque imposuero manus, accipiat Spiritum Sanctum. Petrus autem dixit ad eum : Saying: Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I shall lay my hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said to him: λέγων, Δότε κἀμοὶ τὴν ἐξουσίαν ταύτην, ἵνα ᾧ ἐὰν ἐπιθῶ τὰς χεῖρας, λαμβάνῃ πνεῦμα ἅγιον."
And it came to pass that Peter, as he passed through, visiting all, came to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.
Acts 9 34 Et ait illi Petrus : Aenea, sanat te Dominus Jesus Christus : surge, et sterne tibi. Et continuo surrexit. And Peter said to him: Eneas, the Lord Jesus Christ healeth thee. Arise and make thy bed. And immediately he arose.
Acts 9 38 Cum autem prope esset Lydda ad Joppen, discipuli, audientes quia Petrus esset in ea, miserunt duos viros ad eum, rogantes : Ne pigriteris venire ad nos. And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppe, the disciples, hearing that Peter was there, sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not be slack to come unto them.
And Peter rising up went with them. And when he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber. And all the widows stood about him, weeping and shewing him the coats and garments which Dorcas made them.
At illa aperuit oculos suos : et viso Petro, resedit. And they all being put forth, Peter, kneeling down, prayed. And turning to the body, he said: Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes and, seeing Peter, sat up.
Acts 10 5 Et nunc mitte viros in Joppen, et accersi Simonem quemdam, qui cognominatur Petrus : And now send men to Joppe: and call hither one Simon, who is surnamed Peter.
And on the next day, whilst they were going on their journey and drawing nigh to the city, Peter went up to the higher parts of the house to pray, about the sixth hour.
But Peter said: Far be it from me. For I never did eat any thing that is common and unclean.
Acts 10 17 Et dum intra se haesitaret Petrus quidnam esset visio quam vidisset, ecce viri qui missi erant a Cornelio, inquirentes domum Simonis astiterunt ad januam. Now, whilst Peter was doubting within himself what the vision that he had seen should mean, behold the men who were sent from Cornelius, inquiring for Simon's house, stood at the gate.
And when they had called, they asked if Simon, who is surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
Then Peter, going down to the men, said: Behold, I am he whom you seek. What is the cause for which you are come?
And it came to pass that when Peter was come in, Cornelius came to meet him and falling at his feet adored.
Acts 10 26 Petrus vero elevavit eum, dicens : Surge : et ego ipse homo sum. But Peter lifted him up, saying: Arise: I myself also am a man.
Acts 10 32 Mitte ergo in Joppen, et accersi Simonem qui cognominatur Petrus : hic hospitatur in domo Simonis coriarii juxta mare. Send therefore to Joppe: and call hither Simon, who is surnamed Peter. He lodgeth in the house of Simon a tanner, by the sea side.
Acts 10 34 Aperiens autem Petrus os suum, dixit : In veritate comperi quia non est personarum acceptor Deus ; And Peter opening his mouth, said: in very deed I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons.
Then Peter answered: Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, who have received the Holy Ghost, as well as we?
And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him, Καὶ ὅτε ἀνέβη Πέτρος εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα, διεκρίνοντο πρὸς αὐτὸν οἱ ἐκ περιτομῆς,"
Acts 11 4 Incipiens autem Petrus exponebat illis ordinem, dicens : But Peter began and declared to them the matter in order, saying:
And he told us how he had seen an angel in his house, standing and saying to him: Send to Joppe and call hither Simon, who is surnamed Peter,
Acts 12 5 Et Petrus quidem servabatur in carcere. Peter therefore was kept in prison. But prayer was made without ceasing by the church unto God for him.
Acts 12 6 Cum autem producturus eum esset Herodes, in ipsa nocte erat Petrus dormiens inter duos milites, vinctus catenis duabus : et custodes ante ostium custodiebant carcerem. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
And Peter coming to himself, said: Now I know in very deed that the Lord hath sent his angel and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
Acts 12 16 Petrus autem perseverabat pulsans. Cum autem aperuissent, viderunt eum, et obstupuerunt. But Peter continued knocking. And when they had opened, they saw him and were astonished.
And when there had been much disputing, Peter, rising up, said to them: Men, brethren, you know that in former days God made choice among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
1_Peter 1 1 Petrus Apostolus Jesu Christi, electis advenis dispersionis Ponti, Galatiae, Cappadociae, Asiae, et Bithyniae, Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers dispersed through Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, elect,
Simon Peter, servant and apostle of Jesus Christ: to them that have obtained equal faith with us in the justice of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ.
