Job 14 12 sic homo, cum dormierit, non resurget : donec atteratur caelum, non evigilabit, nec consurget de somno suo. So man when he is fallen asleep shall not rise again; till the heavens be broken, he shall not awake, nor rise up out of his sleep. Ἄνθρωπος δὲ κοιμηθεὶς οὐ μὴν ἀναστῇ ἕως ἂν ὁ οὐρανὸς οὐ μὴ συῤῥαφῇ, καὶ οὐκ ἐξυπνισθήσονται ἐξ ὕπνου αὐτῶν.
Job 18 16 Deorsum radices ejus siccentur : sursum autem atteratur messis ejus. Let his roots be dried up beneath, and his harvest destroyed above. Ὑποκάτωθεν αἱ ῥίζαι αὐτοῦ ξηρανθήσονται, καὶ ἐπάνωθεν ἐπιπεσεῖται θερισμὸς αὐτοῦ.
