Chap Ver Latin English Greek
3_Kings 18 32 Et aedificavit de lapidibus altare in nomine Domini : fecitque aquaeductum, quasi per duas aratiunculas in circuitu altaris, And he built with the stones an altar to the name of the Lord: and he made a trench for water, of the breadth of two furrows, round about the altar.
2_Paralipomenon 4 5 Porro vastitas ejus habebat mensuram palmi, et labium illius erat quasi labium calicis, vel repandi lilii : capiebatque tria millia metretas. Now the thickness of it was a handbreadth, and the brim of it was like the brim of a cup, or of a crisped lily: and it held three thousand measures.
John 2 6 Erant autem ibi lapideae hydriae sex positae secundum purificationem Judaeorum, capientes singulae metretas binas vel ternas. Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three measures apiece.
