Exodus 19 16 Jamque advenerat tertius dies, et mane inclaruerat : et ecce coeperunt audiri tonitrua, ac micare fulgura, et nubes densissima operire montem, clangorque buccinae vehementius perstrepebat : et timuit populus qui erat in castris. And now the third day was come, and the morning appeared: and behold thunders began to be heard, and lightning to flash, and a very thick cloud to cover the mount, and the noise of the trumpet sounded exceeding loud; and the people that was in the camp, feared. Ἐγένετο δὲ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ τρίτῃ γενηθέντος πρὸς ὄρθρον, καὶ ἐγένοντο φωναὶ καὶ ἀστραπαὶ καὶ νεφέλη γνοφώδης ἐπʼ ὄρους Σινά· φωνὴ τῆς σάλπιγγος ἤχει μέγα· καὶ ἐπτοήθη πᾶς ὁ λαὸς ὁ ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ.
4_Kings 7 6 Siquidem Dominus sonitum audiri fecerat in castris Syriae, curruum, et equorum, et exercitus plurimi : dixeruntque ad invicem : Ecce mercede conduxit adversum nos rex Israel reges Hethaeorum et Aegyptiorum, et venerunt super nos. For the Lord had made them hear, in the camp of Syria, the noise of chariots, and of horses, and of a very great army: and they said one to another: Behold, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hethites, and of the Egyptians; and they are come upon us. Καὶ Κύριος ἀκουστὴν ἐποίησε παρεμβολὴν τὴν Συρίας φωνὴν ἅρματος καὶ φωνὴν ἵππου, φωνὴν δυνάμεως μεγάλης· καὶ εἶπεν ἀνὴρ πρὸς τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ, νῦν ἐμισθώσατο ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ τοὺς βασιλέας τῶν Χετταίων καὶ τοὺς βασιλέας Αἰγύπτου τοῦ ἐλθεῖν ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς.
Job 9 32 Neque enim viro qui similis mei est, respondebo ; nec qui mecum in judicio ex aequo possit audiri. For I shall not answer a man that is like myself: nor one that may be heard with me equally in judgment. Οὐ γὰρ εἰ ἄνθρωπος κατʼ ἐμὲ, ᾧ ἀντικρινοῦμαι, ἵνα ἔλθωμεν ὁμοθυμαδὸν εἰς κρίσιν.
