And he dwelt in the mountain Hares, that is, of potsherds, in Aialon and Salebim. And the hand of the house of Joseph was heavy upon him, and he became tributary to him. Καὶ ἤρξατο ὁ Ἀμοῤῥαῖος κατοικεῖν ἐν τῷ ὄρει τῷ ὀστρακώδει, ἐν ᾧ αἱ ἅρκτοι καὶ ἐν ᾧ αἱ ἀλώπεκες, ἐν τῷ Μυρσινῶνι, καὶ ἐν Θαλαβίν, καὶ ἐβαρύνθη ἡ χεὶρ οἴκου Ἰωσὴφ ἐπὶ τὸν Ἀμοῤῥαῖον, καὶ ἐγενήθη αὐτοῖς εἰς φόρον.
Matthew 8 20 Et dicit ei Jesus : Vulpes foveas habent, et volucres caeli nidos ; Filius autem hominis non habet ubi caput reclinet. And Jesus saith to him: The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. Καὶ λέγει αὐτῷ ὁ Ἰησοῦς, Αἱ ἀλώπεκες φωλεοὺς ἔχουσιν, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ κατασκηνώσεις· ὁ δὲ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου οὐκ ἔχει ποῦ τὴν κεφαλὴν κλίνῃ."

Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Πορευθέντες εἴπατε τῇ ἀλώπεκι ταύτῃ, Ἰδού, ἐκβάλλω δαιμόνια καὶ ἰάσεις ἐπιτελῶ σήμερον καὶ αὔριον, καὶ τῇ τρίτῃ τελειοῦμαι."
