Chap Ver Latin English Greek
Hebrews 7 12 Translato enim sacerdotio, necesse est ut et legis translatio fiat. For the priesthood being translated, it is necessary that a translation also be made of the law, Μετατιθεμένης γὰρ τῆς ἱερωσύνης, ἐξ ἀνάγκης καὶ νόμου μετάθεσις γίνεται."
Hebrews 11 5 Fide Henoch translatus est ne videret mortem, et non inveniebatur, quia transtulit illum Deus : ante translationem enim testimonium habuit placuisse Deo. By faith Henoch was translated that he should not see death: and he was not found because God had translated him. For before his translation he had testimony that he pleased God.
And in that he saith: Yet once more, he signifieth the translation of the moveable things as made, that those things may remain which are immoveable. Τὸ δέ, Ἔτι ἅπαξ, δηλοῖ τῶν σαλευομένων τὴν μετάθεσιν, ὡς πεποιημένων, ἵνα μείνῃ τὰ μὴ σαλευόμενα."
