Word μαίνομαι

Chap Ver Latin English Greek
And many of them said: He hath a devil and is mad. Why hear you him?
Acts 12 15 At illi dixerunt ad eam : Insanis. Illa autem affirmabat sic se habere. Illi autem dicebant : Angelus ejus est. But they said to her: Thou art mad. But she affirmed that it was so. Then said they: It is his angel.
Acts 26 24 Haec loquente eo, et rationem reddente, Festus magna voce dixit : Insanis, Paule : multae te litterae ad insaniam convertunt. As he spoke these things and made his answer, Festus said with a loud voice: Paul, thou art beside thyself: much learning doth make thee mad.
Acts 26 25 Et Paulus : Non insanio, inquit, optime Feste, sed veritatis et sobrietatis verba loquor. And Paul said: I am not mad, most excellent Festus, but I speak words of truth and soberness.
If therefore the whole church come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in unlearned persons or infidels, will they not say that you are mad?
