In the desert Betharaba, Meddin and Sachacha,

καὶ Βαδδαργεὶς, καὶ Θαραβαὰμ, καὶ Αἰνὼν,

Erat autem et Joannes baptizans, in Aennon, juxta Salim : quia aquae multae erant illic, et veniebant et baptizabantur.

And John also was baptizing in Ennon near Salim: because there was much water there. And they came and were baptized.

Ἦν δὲ καὶ Ἰωάννης βαπτίζων ἐν Αἰνὼν ἐγγὺς τοῦ Σαλήμ, ὅτι ὕδατα πολλὰ ἦν ἐκεῖ· καὶ παρεγίνοντο καὶ ἐβαπτίζοντο."
