Luke 2 7 Et peperit filium suum primogenitum, et pannis eum involvit, et reclinavit eum in praesepio : quia non erat eis locus in diversorio. And she brought forth her first born son and wrapped him up in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger: because there was no room for them in the inn.
And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger.
Luke 2 16 Et venerunt festinantes : et invenerunt Mariam, et Joseph, et infantem positum in praesepio. And they came with haste: and they found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger.
And the Lord answering him, said: Ye hypocrites, doth not every one of you, on the sabbath day, loose his ox or his ass from the manger and lead them to water?
