Exodus 32 22
|
Cui ille respondit : Ne indignetur dominus meus : tu enim nosti populum istum, quod pronus sit ad malum :
|
And he answered him: Let not my lord be offended; for thou knowest this people, that they are prone to evil.

καὶ εἶπεν Ἀαρὼν πρὸς Μωυσῆν, μὴ ὀργίζου, κύριε· σὺ γὰρ οἶδας τὸ ὅρμημα τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου.

Apocalypse 18 21
|
Et sustulit unus angelus fortis lapidem quasi molarem magnum, et misit in mare, dicens : Hoc impetu mittetur Babylon civitas illa magna, et ultra jam non invenietur.

And a mighty angel took up a stone, as it were a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying: With such violence as this, shall Babylon, that great city, be thrown down and shall be found no more at all.

¶Καὶ ἦρεν εἷς ἄγγελος ἰσχυρὸς λίθον ὡς μύλον μέγαν, καὶ ἔβαλεν εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν, λέγων, Οὕτως ὁρμήματι βληθήσεται Βαβυλὼν ἡ μεγάλη πόλις, καὶ οὐ μὴ εὑρεθῇ ἔτι."
