Word ὄλυνθος

Chap Ver Latin English Greek
Canticle 2 13 ficus protulit grossos suos ; vineae florentes dederunt odorem suum. Surge, amica mea, speciosa mea, et veni : The fig tree hath put forth her green figs: the vines in flower yield their sweet smell. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come: Ἡ συκὴ ἐξήνεγκεν ὀλύνθους αὐτῆς, αἱ ἄμπελοι κυπρίζουσιν, ἔδωκαν ὀσμήν· ἀνάστα, ἐλθὲ ἡ πλησίον μου, καλή μου, περιστερά μου, καὶ ἐλθὲ.
Apocalypse 6 13 et stellae de caelo ceciderunt super terram, sicut ficus emittit grossos suos cum a vento magno movetur : And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, as the fig tree casteth its green figs when it is shaken by a great wind.
