Word ἐνεδρεύω

Chap Ver Latin English Greek
Job 38 40 quando cubant in antris, et in specubus insidiantur ? When they couch in the dens and lie in wait in holes?
So is the man that hurteth his friend deceitfully: and when he is taken, saith: I did it in jest.
Lying in wait for him and seeking to catch something from his mouth, that they might accuse him.
But do not thou give credit to them: for there lie in wait for him more than forty men of them, who have bound themselves by oath neither to eat nor to drink, till they have killed him. And they are now ready, looking for a promise from thee.
