Exodus 2 14

Qui respondit : Quis te constituit principem et judicem super nos ? num occidere me tu vis, sicut heri occidisti Aegyptium ? Timuit Moyses, et ait : Quomodo palam factum est verbum istud ?

But he answered: Who hath appointed thee prince and judge over us? wilt thou kill me, as thou didst yesterday kill the Egyptian? Moses feared, and said: How is this come to be known?

Ὁ δὲ εἶπε, τίς σε κατέστησεν ἄρχοντα καὶ δικαστὴν ἐφʼ ἡμῶν; μὴ ἀνελεῖν με σὺ θέλεις, ὃν τρόπον ἀνεῖλες χθὲς τὸν Αἰγύπτιον; ἐφοβήθη δὲ Μωυσῆς, καὶ εἶπεν, εἰ οὕτως ἐμφανὲς γέγονε τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο.

Hunc Deus suscitavit tertia die, et dedit eum manifestum fieri,

Him God raised up the third day and gave him to be made manifest,
|
Τοῦτον ὁ θεὸς ἤγειρεν τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸν ἐμφανῆ γενέσθαι,"
