Omni autem petenti te, tribue : et qui aufert quae tua sunt, ne repetas.
|
Give to every one that asketh thee: and of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again.

Παντὶ δὲ τῷ αἰτοῦντί σε δίδου· καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἴροντος τὰ σὰ μὴ ἀπαίτει.

Dixit autem illi Deus : Stulte, hac nocte animam tuam repetunt a te : quae autem parasti, cujus erunt ?

But God said to him: Thou fool, this night do they require thy soul of thee. And whose shall those things be which thou hast provided?

Εἶπεν δὲ αὐτῷ ὁ θεός, Ἄφρον, ταύτῃ τῇ νυκτὶ τὴν ψυχήν σου ἀπαιτοῦσιν ἀπὸ σοῦ· ἃ δὲ ἡτοίμασας, τίνι ἔσται;"
