Evigilate justi, et nolite peccare : ignorantiam enim Dei quidam habent, ad reverentiam vobis loquor.
|
Awake, ye just, and sin not. For some have not the knowledge of God. I speak it to your shame.

Ἐκνήψατε δικαίως καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε· ἀγνωσίαν γὰρ θεοῦ τινὲς ἔχουσιν· πρὸς ἐντροπὴν ὑμῖν λέγω.

quia sic est voluntas Dei, ut benefacientes obmutescere faciatis imprudentium hominum ignorantiam :

For so is the will of God, that by doing well you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

Ὅτι οὕτως ἐστὶν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ θεοῦ, ἀγαθοποιοῦντας φιμοῦν τὴν τῶν ἀφρόνων ἀνθρώπων ἀγνωσίαν·"
