Deuteronomy 32 30

Quomodo persequatur unus mille, et duo fugent decem millia ? nonne ideo, quia Deus suus vendidit eos, et Dominus conclusit illos ?

How should one pursue after a thousand, and two chase ten thousand? Was it not, because their God had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?

Πῶς διώξεται εἷς χιλίους, καὶ δύο μετακινήσουσι μυριάδας, εἰ μὴ ὁ Θεὸς ἀπέδοτο αὐτοὺς, καὶ Κύριος παρέδωκεν αὐτούς;

|
Unus e vobis persequetur hostium mille viros : quia Dominus Deus vester pro vobis ipse pugnabit, sicut pollicitus est.

One of you shall chase a thousand men of the enemies: because the Lord your God himself will fight for you, as he hath promised.

Εἷς ὑμῶν ἐδίωξε χιλίους, ὅτι Κύριος ὁ Θεὸς ἡμῶν οὗτος ἐξεπολέμει ὑμῖν, καθάπερ εἶπεν ἡμῖν.
